Want to travel China? IndiGo to start direct flight from Delhi-Chengdu route
China is known for a country for its trade, culture, tourism and it holds the records for holding the highest number of population in the world. So by seeing the demand for China in Indian people, IndiGo airlines have announced that they are ready to enter China market. A low-cost carrier is set to start its first direct plane from Delhi to Chengdu route starting 15 September onwards.
The chief commercial officer, William Boulter said that “This is truly a milestone moment for all of us at IndiGo. India is witnessing a much higher growth rate with respect to aviation and currently, the India-China route is underserved by Indian carriers.”
Meanwhile, IndiGo airline is operating on five other international routes in Asia and the new route fight will be from September 15 to Chengdu will make the airline’s 19th international destination.
Moreover, as the statement received, this new destination flight will be the first non-stop service between Chengdu and India”. IndiGo, is India’s largest airline with around 50 percent share in the domestic passenger market.
