Bad news for Tourists! Water rafting suspended in Kashmir
A bad news comes for water rafting tourist as following the safety of the people, Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended water rafting in Kashmir until further notice. So if you are planning water sports adventure in Kashmir don’t waste time on it just avoid for the further instruction and meanwhile move towards other adventures activities.
Meanwhile, issuing the order, the tourism director said that rafting policy will remain suspended until proper safety order. As this policy is circulated after three people killed during rafting in lidder stream in Pahalgam resort.
As per the order, “In the interest of administration and safety of tourists it is hereby ordered that all rafting-related activities at all tourist destinations, particularly at Pahalgam and Sonamarg, shall remain suspended till a proper mechanism/technical guidance is put in place at all such locations,
But hold on visitors, apart from water sports in Pahalgram there are many other places awaited for you such as Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, Baisaran, Chandanwari, Sheshnag Lake.
