Vistara is all set to launch International services in India
After serving almost for four and half years into the Indian skies, now Vistara who operates more than 22 planes and operates around 850 flights every week is set to launch international services in the second half of this year. Well, Vistara is a joint venture of Tata Sons & Singapore airlines.
Vistara CEO Leslie Thng during the annual general meeting of airlines said that “We are seeing India as a growing market & we are here for the long term”.
Meanwhile, in last month, the carrier announced that it would take four Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft & two A320 Neo planes on a lease. Where in 2018, the carrier has placed its order for purchased & leased aircraft of total 50 from Airbus A30 Neo family. These would be for domestic as well as short and medium-haul international operations, which deliveries scheduled, will be between 2019 and 2023.
Moreover, the carrier has brought six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft that are scheduled to be delivered between 2020 & 2021. Where this carrier will be used for long term-haul international operations.
