New flight Services from Bhopal to Nagpur and Allahabad
Bhopal: IndiGo announced, soon to start flights from Bhopal to Nagpur and Allahabad.
- With the implementation of the new schedule, SpiceJet’s Bhopal-Shirdi and Bhopal – Surat flights will be closed.
- Apart from this, SpiceJet’s Evening flights to Delhi and Hyderabad will also be closed.
Bhopal- Now flights to Nagpur and Allahabad will also be available from Rajabhoj Airport.New flights for Jaipur and Ahmedabad will also start for passengers . These provisions have been made in the winter schedule, issued by the Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA) for various airlines on Thursday. It has come into force from 27 October.
However, SpiceJet’s Bhopal – Shirdi and Bhopal – Surat flights will be discontinued as soon as new schedule comes into force. Apart from this, SpiceJet’s Evening flights to Delhi and Hyderabad will also be closed. Despite this, the number of flights operated from Bhopal Airport will remain 44. This would be due to the flight connectivity of the two cities being discontinued with the start of flights for the new cities and the flight operation by another airline for the other cities. Officials of Rajabhoj Airport said that by December 1, there will be 52 flights from Rajabhoj Airport to 11 destinations in the country.
DGCA has changed the timing of the Bhopal-Raipur flight in the winter schedule which has been in force since 27 October. Currently, a 70-seater flight of Air India (Alliance Air) used to fly from Bhopal to Raipur at 3.25 pm, landing at Rajabhoj Airport from Raipur at 6.50 pm. But, now in the winter schedule, this flight will land off from Bhopal to Raipur at 8 am and will land at Bhopal Airport In the evening at 6.25 pm, . Officials of Rajabhoj Airport said that the change in schedule of the Bhopal-Raipur flight would benefit those passengers, who want to go to Raipur for personal or business work in the morning and back in the evening.
IndiGo will introduce new flights to Ahmedabad, Allahabad from 10 November and Delhi from 1 December
The airline company IndiGo has started it’s flight operations from Bhopal to Nagpur from October 27, with 70 seats on board. Apart from this, IndiGo will start a new flight on November 10 from Bhopal to Allahabad, Ahmedabad and from December 1 to Delhi from Rajabhoj Airport. This has broght the number of flights operated from Bhopal Airport to 52.
SpiceJet dis-continued four flights
SpiceJet airlines announced to discontinue it’s flight operations from Bhopal,starting in January this year, from Bhopal to Shirdi and Surat in the winter schedule released on Thursday. Also, the evening flights from Bhopal to Delhi and Hyderabad have been closed till 28 March 2020.
