Kumbh witnesses more number of Foreign Participants
The Kumbh Mela which is happening in Prayagraj has this time witnessed foreign tourists more.As per the tourism department, the foreign travelers have likely increased by 40%. Whereas, among national travelers Youths have participated more.
The Kumbh Mela began on January 15 and will continue until March 4. The Ultimate Traveling Camp (TUTC) co-founder Tune Corado said that people from the Far East including the UK, America and the rest of Europe and Singapore have also come to Kumbh Mela.Kordo further said that in Kumbh domestic and foreign tourists get to see the different types of happenings, that define culture.”This is the biggest Kumbh and foreigners are also participating in huge number. The arrangements made for devotees are also highly commending”, he said.
“There is a great demand for camps and 80 to 85 percent of them are filled in. The tents has a 50:50 ratio of Indians and foreign tourists, he added.Big Breaks.com managing director Kapil Goswami said that the number of foreign tourists traveling to Prayagraj has increased by 35 to 40 percent.People from 70 countries, including Afghanistan, America, Canada, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Argentina, Venezuela, Cuba, Sri Lanka, Belgium, Malaysia, South Africa, have been witnessed in Prayagraj.
