What the Fart? This restaurant in Surat to organise this weirdest competition!
A restaurant in Surat is hosting the best fart competition comprising of 3 categories and the winner will get a trophy.
The thought of a ‘fart competition’ might raise a stench, quite literally, but a Surat based restaurant ,in Gujarat,has forward to organize it on September 22 and 200 people have been registered with an aim to come out from fragrance of roses followed with distribution of trophies in three categories.
Yatin Sangoi, the organiser said, the registrations continue to remain open, and participants can fight for trophies for the “longest”, “loudest” and “most musical” farts.
60 seconds will be allotted to each participant to perform their talent before the judges, one of whom will be a doctor. Our quest is to find India’s best ‘fartists’ in three categories,” he said.
Such events are held in different countries,while such a contest is taking place first time in India.The names have been registered from places like Kolkata, Delhi and Jaipur, claimed by him.
He said that there might be cash prizes along with the three trophies in case they manage a sponsor for the event. Sangoi has joined his friend Mul Sanghvi to organise the competition.
The seriousness with which the duo take the event can be seen from the fact that they have made a Facebook page and are doling out tips to participants on what to eat in order to give it their best shot.
