Planning to visit Thailand? Then, this is the right time for you
Are you planning for visiting Thailand? If yes, then this is the right time for you. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced an extension of the visa-on-arrival fee waiver from January 14 to April 30.
This has come in the wake of boosting tourism in the region. Referring to this development, TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn said that the fee waiver move comes at a perfect time when Thailand is set to celebrate Chinese New Year in February and the Thai New Year (Songkran) in April.
The government spokesperson further stated that the other countries exempted from paying the VoA fees during this extended period, i.e., till April are Bulgaria, Cyprus, Mauritius, Andora, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Fiji, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, San Marino, Latvia, Kazakhstan, China, Bhutan, Ethiopia, Lithuania, India, Malta, and Papua New Guinea.
