Get tablets for Rs 50 in Tejas Express, passengers will be able to enjoy MOVIES
The commercial run of Tejas Express, operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), started from October 5. IRCTC Managing Director M.P. Mall said that facilities of the train will continue to improve depending upon feed backs and and proposals received from the passengers.
Lucknow. All preparatory works have been completed to run the country’s first corporate train ‘Tejas’.M.P. Mall, managing director of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation reached Lucknow on Tuesday night. He, inspected the facilities available in Tejas Express, along with Chief Regional Manager Ashwini Srivastava and all other officials. Mall said that the facilities of the train will continue to increase. These will be extended and changed as per feedback and proposals received from the passengers. He said, in order to facilitate for watching movies, passengers will get a tablet at the nominal charge of rupees 50.
Insurance for Rupees 25 lakh
According to IRCTC, passengers of Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express will get free rail travel insurance of Rs 25 lakh. At the same time, there is also a plan to provide travel insurance of 1 lakh rupees to passengers in case of theft or robbery during the journey. Whereas, if the train is late (delayed) for more than an hour, the passengers will be given compensation of Rs 100 and for delay of more than two hours, Rs 250.
The commercial run of Tejas Express, operated by IRCTC, have started from October 5. Earlier, on October 4, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off Tejas for it’s first run from Lucknow.
Fare of Tejas Express
Lucknow-New Delhi bound Tejas Express fare for chair car and executive chair car is Rs 1125 and Rs 2310 respectively. At the same time New Delhi-Lucknow bound Tejas Express fare for chair car is Rs 1280 and for executive chair car Rs 2450.
Managing Director of IRCTC said that the facilities of Tej Express will continue to go up.This will be extended and changed on the feedback and proposals received from the passengers.
Change in time table of Tejas Express
A change has been incorporated in the time of Tejas Express coming from New Delhi to Lucknow.Now it will arrive at Lucknow at 10.05 pm, 40minutes early, instead of 10.45 pm, as scheduled earlier. At the same time, this train will start from Lucknow Junction at 6:10 am and reach New Delhi at 12:25 pm.The train will not run on every Tuesday of the week.
Tejas Express will have following facilities
Facility of Flash light above the seat, automatic door, attendant button, high-definition cameras on the gangway, moving talkies, fire smoke detection alarm, automatic dustbin, LCD to show train speed, stops and distance of forth coming station, security guard, Food from well-known chefs, automatic curtains, sensors equipped toilets with modern facilities.
