Paytm adds food in list; announces partnership with Zomato
If you don’t like to open Zomato app to order food, don’t worry your favourite app namely Paytm India’s best or number one app announced to the partnership with Zomato to enable food ordering through this Paytm app. As it was announced by Paytm parent One97 communications. But currently the service is available for the people of Delhi-NCR and soon it will be made available across India.
Well, this is a great move after Paytm waived off the additional charges on Train booking.
Mohit Gupta, Ceo of Zomato said in the statement that, “We are excited to be partnering with them to integrate our food service with their mobile app. As this will allow us to reach a larger user as paytm has strong user-base in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
At present, Zomato has over 8000 restaurants across 120 cities and delivers monthly order at the run rate of 28 million.
Senior Vice President of Paytm, Renu Satti sad that- Our association with food hub Zomato is a valuable addition to our platform. With this new addition, we are confident of driving more growth through online food ordering across the country.
Well this makes tougher to competitors like Swiggy, Uber eats, FoodPanda.
