Soon, Meals to be expensive in Trains
In express, mail trains, breakfast will be available for Rs 35, while non-veg breakfast will be available for Rs 45. At the same time, AC First Class in Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto will get breakfast for Rs 140. Railways have made it clear that GST is already included in the prices of all food items.
New Delhi. Traveling through Indian Railways is going to be expensive now. Because tea, breakfast and food at the railway stations will cost more. According to the information given by IRCTC to Stock Exchanges i.e. BSE and NSE, after Railway Board, Railway Ministry has now approved the tea, snacks, and food expensive in Rajdhani, Shatabdi, and Duranto. The new rates will also be applicable in Mail, Express and other trains. The IRCTC will decide soon the effective date of new prices.
Now, we have to spend 35 rupees for the veg-breakfast and 45 rupees for the non-veg breakfast. Apart from this, standard meal veg will be available for Rs70. The standard meal with egg curry will be available for Rs 70. At the same time, standard meal non-veg will be available for Rs. 120. The standard meal is available at stations on static units run by IRCTC such as refreshment room and Jan-aahar
