This Restaurant in Ahmedabad Offering Discount For No Phone Dining
In this world of Digitization, where one cannot leave without their cell phones, can’t even think of getting away from it, there comes a restaurant who has come up with the concept of reconnecting the people through putting away their mobile phones.
With diners increasingly texting or snapping photos while they’re eating out, Lucknowi Nawab restaurant in Ahmedabad is resorting to banning the habit. In their view, meals are for real-life social connections, not social media. “You walk by a table and there’s somebody playing a video game. Or people made a note they’re celebrating their anniversary and you barely see them speak to each other over the course of the two and a half hour dinner,” says the restaurant owner Arun Pratap Singh.
Adding to it, he said that the reason behind starting this concept of putting away the cell phones was to reconnect people.”People should focus on enjoying each other’s company and the food, not be looking at a phone”.
In addition to it, the restaurant is also offering the 10% discount if you handover your phone first.If you give up your mobile phone in the restaurant 10% discount will be given on the total bill.
